New Clothes

I went to the mall this evening to buy boldly colored, jewel-tone blouses to wear to work.  I walked away with black pants, a black and white polka dot blouse, and a green short-sleeve jacket, all for $53.  Not exactly following the plan, and still satisfactory.  Tomorrow I’m probably going to wear the new blouse with my new denim pencil skirt from Goodwill and my officey black pumps, and I will feel very adult and professional.  Before it’s even lunch I will regret my decision not to wear sneakers and socks on the one day of the week we’re allowed to.

In other purchasing news, I have decided to buy myself an elliptical machine so I can work out from the convenience of my own home.  I will cancel my gym membership at that time.  I’m not sure where to start looking for a suitable machine.  I bet the internet can help me.

Try amazon. Ellipticals are nice! but new clothes are always nicer – because you can always get new clothes while exercise equipment is kinda expensive. 😛

so take shoes #2 with you for a back up? new clothes sound fun. I have 4 bags of old clothes by the door going out, to upgrade, replace, reduce, make more room in closet for the future possible resident who needs his space too (apparently not bill2 as he is frustrated by sharing in a relationship)

good for you on the elliptical machine- I only barely last 3 minutes at the gym on mine, altho I jack up the resistance and incline.

take photo. will you choose the polka dots today, or?

    hug, you know who

I bought a $30 mini trampoline a week ago and have found it to be a doable, relatively fun, inexpensive, pretty quick, easy on the knees, can watch tv, easy to share with others way to exercise. Since I have never gone to a gym, I have nothing to compare it to, but for the price you can’t go wrong!
