The sincerest flattery

I’m working on Tetris Quilt 2.0 for a silent auction at work and I did a quick google image search to see how many images on the first few pages are mine — most of them, it turns out.  Then I saw one that looked familiar.  The quilt I made a few years ago is on the left, the one on the right is from Sew-therapy.  Bloggers with large followings, like AmandaJean of Crazy Mom Quilts or Amy Karol of Angry Chicken, must feel like this all the time as their readers are inspired by their ideas or recreate something they saw on their sites.

I had found your picture online a long time ago and i printed it out for my “whenever i have time” projects. your quilt was so awesome! I just had to recreate it for my video game obsessed little boy! Thank you so much for putting it out there! I never thought to Google it to find out who had made it. I’ll be sure to update that post to link you to it. Thanks again so much for being my inspiration, and the catalyst for renewing my love of quilting and sewing.
