What I Wore to Work Today: May 17, 2010
Several years ago I regularly posted pictures of what I wore to work that day. I was given a hard time about it by some of my friends and/or family, and I said that’s what blogs are for you guys, right? All about me? The point of a personal blog like mine, talking about me me me and posting pictures of myself all the time? I don’t remember exactly why I stopped doing it, maybe I was tired of myself (!!) or maybe my photographers lost patience with it, or maybe I drifted away from my blog in general. I’m going to start doing it again, and now I know it’s totally a thing that people do who aren’t me. Some of my favorites include mommy fashion (Megan Nielsen), high-quality homemade clothing (Handmade by Carolyn), the awesome occasional homemade or refashioned item (luck and bliss, Vively Online, with the crickets), continually inspiring transformations from thrift store dresses (Sew I Thought…), English student (Sadie’s Wardrobe), and do-it-yourself fashion tutorials (Made By Lex).
Everything in this outfit is from Target, it turns out, including some underthings.
