What I Wore to Work Today: Mon, June 7

Sweater: Old Navy
Skirt: Goodwill, successfully altered down to my size (which is why I’m generously labeling this a Refashion post)
Shoes: Target
Sunglasses: Target

See the little red squares on my ankles?  That’s sunburn.  I went tubing on Saturday and missed a few spots during the multiple sunscreen reapplications.  I was wearing old Goodwill sneakers in the river and didn’t reapply right at the edge of the shoe; I missed under my left arm, which normally doesn’t get much sun, except the area was exposed as I was resting with my arms up on the tube in the water; in front of my right armpit; and a little spot on my sternum at the edge of my swimsuit top.  My knees are a bit pink too, although I don’t expect them to peel.  Not bad overall for 4+ hours of midday, 107 degree sun.
