What I Wore to Work Today: June 29
Cardigan and skirt: Goodwill
Tank top: Target
Wedges:Payless
I was a bridesmaid in a college friend’s wedding last week in Rye, New York. Our dresses were strapless empire waist floor-length navy blue chiffon, and she requested we wear silver shoes. I already owned a pair of silver dressy shoes that I had only worn once or twice, and I still decided to buy another pair. I ended up with a dark gunmetal silver/pewter pair, and three other pairs of shoes from Payless. I haven’t purchased four pairs at once before, and it was $78 for these together, which isn’t bad at all, especially since my shoe wardrobe needed updating. I don’t wear leather, which makes shoe-shopping cheaper.
While I didn’t buy any of this outfit from Target, the Goodwill skirt is a Target brand, so it probably counts. The skirt and cardigan were from a Goodwill trip during the last 50% Off Saturday sale. I also bought a stack of shorts that I’ll refashion to fit me soon.
