Blue & white skirt refashion
What I Wore to Work Today: Mon, Nov 8
Cardigan: Target
Tank top: Goodwill
Skirt: Refashioned from a gift
Wedges: Payless
My friend Sarah included this skirt in one of the 13 mother lode packages for my birthday. She said somebody gave it to her and it was too big so I should “refashion the hell out of it”, although I didn’t do anything drastic. I made it smaller and raised the hem, losing access to one of the neat pockets in the refashion process. If I tire of this primly proper length I’ll make it shorter and show some thigh. Hot diggity!
I look pretty good in these pictures, considering that I had just come home from work at noon and was about to sleep away the rest of the day buried under a migraine.
