Looks like we’re up to June and the beginning of summer. Phoenix had the hottest summer on record, with an average daily temperature of 95.1 degrees in June, July and August. Yup, average, the highs were almost always triple digits and often the “double digit triple digits” as I call temps 110+. The hottest day of the summer was June 29 when it hit 119. Haha that’s a real temperature! Hilarious! A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and happened to pick that weekend.
We made it, though, we made it through and the heat always breaks by October 1, when it’s back to refreshing double digit highs. Now it’s beautiful and perfect and an utter delight.
